We are currently seeking to fill the following positions within the company:

Content Manager

Activities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of Web content and design for Quirkat’s online activities. 
  • Maintenance of web and portal content, including copyediting; in both English and Arabic
  • Work with Quirkat staff members to develop and maintain web content in line with the company’s objectives.
  • Design and implement the information architecture of Quirkat’s websites ensuring ease of navigation, accessibility and user-friendliness for visitors
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of Web content using custom CMS
  • Support Web audiences and suggest content directions to address their needs
  • Monitor user forums daily and pass on any technical or product queries to the right person within the company
  • Track and report website usage and provide creative suggestions to promote traffic growth and interactivity
  • Manage the design and distribution of e-newsletters; including ensuring all materials meet standards to present a consistent company image
  • Support management in identification of new technologies and trends
  • Contribute to Quirkat’s marketing efforts aiming to increase awareness and use of Web site
  • Create and edit graphics; including banners, logos, etc.
  • Assists with other projects and tasks as requested

Skills Required:

  • Web project management
  • Good knowledge of Web metrics and Web functionality
  • Ability to quickly adapt skills to the changing demands of Web users
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area
  • Extensive experience in desired skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • An ample degree of creativity and autonomy is expected.
  • Good command of both English and Arabic, basic computer skills and readiness to learn use of specific web-related applications
  • This position reports to the CTO
