PlayStation Complements Gulf Gamers with Arabian-Themed Games – PC Magazine



Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and PlayStation Division, Sony Gulf FZE, today announced the launch of the Basha Collection of card games (Basha Baloot, Trix and Tarneeb) available for download through the PlayStation Network for both PSP and PS3 games systems for $3.99 each or $9.99 for the whole collection. The Basha Collection’s release closely follows the recent release of the Arabic version of Start The Party!, an exciting motion controller party game packed full of entertaining mini-games for friends and family to enjoy available for the PlayStation Move.

The Basha Collection of card games immerses gamers in traditional Arabian atmosphere, offering rich arabesque visuals that stem from conventional game boards and tables familiar to the region, with three opponent players who represent three diverse Arab gamer types. Realistic game-play is further enhanced by an original soundtrack, and provides for hours of endless fun.

For a limited period, the Basha Collection is available free of charge when consumers buy Start the Party! (Arabic version) Designed to get players off their feet through PlayStation Move motion controller technology, Start the Party! Arabic puts players head to head in over 20 addicting and side-splitting mini-games. Use the pinpoint accuracy of the PlayStation Move to dive deep and spear frantic pufferfish, destroy an ever-approaching galactic robot armada, dare to hunt ghosts in your very own home, and more! It’s a fun, interactive experience that uses augmented reality technology to put you and your family virtually into the game.
